The hotel is requesting that you make a 50% payment of your total stay through an online payment link when you make your reservation. This prepayment is often required to secure your booking and confirm your stay.

The remaining balance, which is the other 50% of the total cost of your stay, will be paid at the time of your check-in. This can be done at the hotel's front desk when you arrive. It's important to make this payment as specified to ensure your reservation is honored and to avoid any issues during your stay.

The hotel does not have extra beds. No more than 2 people per room (except the 4 pax. Beachfront room.)

During the Christmas season ( December 17th, 2024 - January 09th, 2025 ), a minimum stay of 6 nights is required.

During the Easter season ( March 16th - 31st 2024 ) and Thanksgiving (Nov 23rd -30th 2024 ) , a minimum stay of 4 nights is required.

For the rest of the year, we require 3 nights of minimum stay.

Minors are NOT allowed to stay in a room without an adult present.

The hotel does not accept any pets.

The use of coolers is not allowed within hotel facilities and the beach (club).

The hotel does not accept groups larger than 6 people.

We don`t accept children under the age of 12 years old

Upon confirmation of the reservation, the guest is acknowledging that they have read and accepted Hotel Casa las Tortugas hotel and cancellation policy.

Reservation should be canceled or modified 1 week prior to the arrival date to avoid a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the reservation.

During Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving seasons the reservations need to be canceled 20 days prior to arrival.

The Hotel requires a period of 60 days after your cancelation in order to complete the refund.

No shows will be charged the full cost of the stay. In extreme cases of natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, or pandemics, will refund the deposit.

Refunds will be subject to a 50 USD administration fee.

Non-Refundable Booking: All reservations made under this policy are considered non-refundable. Once booked and confirmed, the full amount of the reservation will be charged to your provided payment method.

Cancellation or Modification: As per the non-refundable policy, cancellations or modifications to your reservation will not be eligible for any refund. The entire amount of the reservation will be charged regardless of the actual stay duration or changes made to the booking.

Early Departure: In the event of an early departure, guests will still be charged the full amount of the reservation as originally booked. No refunds or adjustments will be made for unused nights.

Booking Confirmation: Upon completing the reservation, please ensure that all details, including dates, room types, and guest information, are accurate. Any discrepancies should be reported to us immediately to avoid inconvenience during check-in.

Incidentals: Additional charges for services or incidentals during your stay will be charged as per the hotel's standard policy.

No-Show Policy: If guests fail to arrive on the scheduled date of check-in without prior notice, the entire reservation amount will be charged as a no-show fee.

Inclement Weather Policy

At Casa Las Tortugas the safety and wellbeing of our esteemed guests remain of utmost importance, especially in emergency situations. In light of severe weather conditions, we offer the convenience of accommodating reservation changes to ensure that our guests are able to fully enjoy their stay with us.

This policy applies solely in the event that your flight undergoes modification or cancellation as a result of inclement weather.

Arrivals - Terms and Conditions: 

In order to proceed with the following benefits, it is imperative that the reservation guarantee deposit has been covered beforehand.

• Proof of flight cancellation or modification by the airline is required, specifying severe weather conditions or force majeure as the cause.

• Hotel will issue a nights certificate valid for travel up to 12 months after the weather disruption.

• The certificate must be requested with a maximum of 60 days after the natural event.

• Nights Certificate must have the same number of guests, room nights, and room type as the original reservation. Additional room nights, guests, or room categories will incur extra charges.

• Dates to redeem the certificate are subject to availability, and holidays seasons or special dates does not apply and any additional perks or inclusions will be subject to availability based on the rescheduled dates.

• If guests are unable to arrive due to flight cancellations, they may arrive on the days following the cancellation and stay the same number of nights as originally booked, subject to availability. Alternatively, guests have the option to get a unused nights certificate.

Departures - Terms and Conditions:

Casa las Tortugas provides discounted rates for extended stays (subject to room availability) for those affected by canceled flights.

• Payment should be made directly at the Front Desk, and rates are non-commissionable.

• There are no refunds for early departures. Alternatively, guests have the option to get a unused nights certificate.

For reservations made through groups, weddings, or third-party entities such as tour travel operators, travel agents, or online travel agencies, their specific policies will be in effect. It is recommended to contact them directly for further assistance.

Find out about, respect, and don’t consume species out of season. Turn down all types of disposable plastics like straws, plastic bags, cups, etc.Use biodegradable sun creams and tanning lotions.If you go shopping, avoid getting products in plastic bags. Tiny actions can help make HUGE changes.
