And one day... you wake up to the sound of the island, the air whistling through palm leaves,
the water reaching the sand, the song of birds greeting you... Holbox is where
incredible stories begin!

Mi Casa, Tu Casa…

One December night, just before opening a nameless hotel, 13 turtles made their way back to Holbox, driven by a sense of home.
That feeling of belonging was exactly what we aimed for with Casa las Tortugas.

Holbox, a vibrant island with a captivating history, drew people with a similar spirit who helped build the hotel.
By December 2003, the hotel had its name and became a home welcoming friends and guests alike.
